Oklahoma State went through the finals 'match by match' as Hendrickson helped clinch Big 12 title

TULSA — The battles Oklahoma State faced for most of the finals weren't according to plan, challenging the Cowboys until the last moment.

But OSU pulled through at the end to win the Big 12 championship.

"It's a team effort," head coach David Taylor said. "We talk about every point mattering; we talk about the bonus points that we can score as a team, and shoot, we didn't have every single point today."

The Cowboys sent six wrestlers to the finals on Sunday night, in which the first five lost their matches by decision.
