Oklahoma State tennis standout Viki Lushkova striving towards a better future with on-going trouble back home

She interned in New York City. She lived and worked in one of the greatest cities in the world. She played tennis every day, too.

Still, the summer wasn't perfect for Oklahoma State's best tennis player. She didn't get to see her family. She didn't get to go home.

She could have — she just wasn't sure when or even if she'd be able to come back.
