Oklahoma State sparks second-half run, falls to BYU 85-69

Slow starts have plagued Oklahoma State, who struggled again Tuesday night in Provo, losing to BYU 85-69.

The Cowboys trailed by 20 at halftime but cut the lead to single digits thanks to an unexpected spark from bench players.

Connor Dow and Tyler Caron, who average fewer than four minutes per game, kept OSU afloat by leading a 9-0 run in the first half. Although the Cowboys battled back, they dug into a hole they couldn't escape.

Dow said unselfishness allowed OSU to claw back into the game,

“We were down pretty good whenever we came in,” Dow told the Cowboy Radio Network.
