The No. 12th-ranked Oklahoma State women’s soccer team shut out Baylor 3-0 to claim their seventh Big 12 conference championship in program history Thursday at Neal Patterson Stadium.
OSU junior forward Gabriella Coleman and senior midfielder Julia Lenhardt each scored a goal in the first 10 minutes, and junior midfielder Camy Huddleston tacked on a goal in the second half. Junior goalkeeper Dani Greenlee posted a nine-save shutout for the Cowgirls, who improved to 14-1-3 and 7-1-1 in Big 12 play.
Lenhardt’s shot bounced off the crossbar and Coleman pounced on the rebound to tap it in with her right foot for a 1-0 lead in the 7th minute.
