Oklahoma State running back Ollie Gordon II will not face suspension after his June 30 arrest on suspicion of DUI.

OSU head coach Mike Gundy told reporters on Tuesday morning at Day 1 of the Big 12 Football Media Days in Las Vegas that Gordon will instead receive “internal punishment,” indicating that Gordon is likely to pay in the Cowboys’ 2024 season opener against South Dakota State on Aug. 31 at Boone Pickens Stadium. Gundy added that Gordon was cleared to attend media days with his team to “face the music,” according to The Athletic.

Gundy added that the internal punishment will be like a business decision.
