The Cowboys were in Manhattan, Kansas to take on Kansas State and the Cowgirls were in Lawrence, Kansas to take on Kansas. Both teams were forced to adjust their schedules due to weather in both areas. The Cowgirls played a doubleheader on Thursday and had the finale on Saturday meanwhile the Cowboys moved their series to Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Softball:

Game 1:

It was a defensive battle as the Cowgirls took game 1 of the series 2-1 in extra innings. Madi Sue Montgomery hit a single to center field for an RBI to advance Taylor Lynch and bring Vanessa Shippy home in the first inning.
