Oklahoma State has only played in one Sugar Bowl in its 114-year history. That came in 1945 when it beat St. Mary’s to touch off a perfect 9-0 season. And you thought controversy was heated in 2015. Oklahoma State finished sixth (!) in the polls after going 9-0. Sixth!

Indiana finished No. 4 ahead of OSU with a tie against Northwestern (Big 10 bias!) and Navy finished No. 3 with a tie and a loss (WW2 bias!
