Oklahoma State is looking to add more immediate help to the defensive line for 2019, and after striking out with JUCO edge rusher LaRon Stokes Jr. over the weekend, they’ve found their next target.
On Monday, the Cowboy coaching staff extended an offer to JUCO defensive end Soni Fonua.
Fonua is a 6-foot-4, 264-lb edge rusher who just wrapped up his sophomore season at Mesa Community College in Salt Lake City, Utah. He ended the year with 63 tackles including 27 solo, four sacks, and one interception. Gridiron RR has Fonua as the ninth best JUCO DE/OLB in the class.
