The first college basketball NET rankings for the 2019-2020 season came out on Monday, and Oklahoma State found themselves in a decent spot.
The Cowboys are ranked 41st overall in the NET and sixth in the Big 12 behind Kansas, Baylor, West Virginia, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma.
For those who don’t know (or don’t remember), the NET is how the NCAA tournament committee evaluates teams for the Big Dance. The NET replaced the RPI system a few years ago, and while the NET isn’t perfect, it has been better.
The NET rankings uses a quad system to rate wins and losses.
