Oklahoma State men's golf finishes as runner-up behind Oklahoma in Maridoe Intercollegiate

The No. 4 Oklahoma State men's golf team left Carrollton, Texas, with another top-3 finish.

The Cowboys shot 9-over in the Maridoe Intercollegiate, which ended Tuesday, and came in second behind Oklahoma, which shot 7-under. This is the Cowboys' third runner-up finish and seventh top-three finish this season.

No. 24 in the nation, sophomore Preston Stout had the best tournament of any OSU golfer, shooting 2-under. His first round was filled with struggles as he bogeyed the fourth and fifth holes; however, he was able to get back on track after that, only bogeying once and birdieing five holes, including three on the back nine.
