In a sea of pink, Oklahoma State men’s basketball defeated Utah on Saturday in a game that meant more than just the score.
A rowdy Gallagher-Iba Arena crowd came together for the “Pink Out” tribute to breast cancer awareness and watched the Cowboys win, 81-72, to snap their three-game losing streak.
It was a quick turnaround for Steve Lutz’s Cowboys, who focused on ball security. After committing at least 20 turnovers in each of its previous two games, they cut that number in half, finishing with 10.
Bryce Thompson scored 20 points and made all four of his three-point attempts.
