Former Oklahoma State quarterback Taylor Cornelius will get a chance to continue his professional career after being selected in the ninth round of the XFL Draft on Tuesday.
Cornelius played only one season at OSU in 2018 after joining the Cowboys as a walk-on in 2015. He threw for 3,978 yards and scored 42 total touchdowns. He went undrafted last April in the NFL draft.
Cornelius joins former Georgia QB Aaron Murray on Tampa Bay’s roster. Murray was one of eight QBs assigned to teams prior to the draft.
