Spring games are oftentimes big recruiting weekends for Division-I football programs, and that’s no different at Oklahoma State.
The Cowboys are hosting a four-star offensive lineman this weekend, but he won’t be the only uncommitted, highly touted prospect at Boone Pickens Stadium. Four-star defensive lineman Avion Carter and three-star edge rusher Billy Walton also announced they’d take official visits to OSU.
Carter is a Top 100 prospect in the 2023 class, ranking 89th in the composite rankings. He plays on the interior and exterior of the D-line at Tascosa High School in Amarillo. Carter was his district’s defensive player of the year after securing 55 tackles, 15 tackles for loss and eight sacks.
