STILLWATER — Zac Veatch’s transition back to tight end also involves a transformation.
“Man, I’ve grown the hair out, cut the hair, gained weight, lost weight,” said Veatch, who spent most of his first three seasons on campus growing into an offensive guard.
“I’m just kind of going with the flow. Whatever needs to happen, I’m for it.”
And it’s Veatch’s selflessness that keeps him reliable and relevant with the Cowboys.
Saturday in the Orange-White Game, the junior-to-be stamped himself as more than a glorified blocker, hauling in a 10-yard touchdown pass from Mason Rudolph.
