Oklahoma State fans are going to have to wait another week to see the Cowboys take the field.
It was announced Monday night that the season opener against Tulsa, scheduled for September 12th, had not been postponed one week and will be played on Sept. 19.
This postponement is not due to any outbreaks on either team. but pushing the game back by a week allows the Golden Hurricanes to get back some practice time that was missed due to COVID-19.
Kelly Hines of the Tulsa World broke the news and quote from Tulsa athletic director Derrick Gragg about the reasoning behind the cancellation.
