STILLWATER —Oklahoma State quarterback John Kolar says he put on about 20 pounds of muscle during his redshirt season last year. Proof enough the hype surrounding strength coach Rob Glass was legit.
“It’s very intense,” said Kolar, who is listed at 6-foot-4 and 200 pounds. “There’s no other way to put it. He’s the best in the country.”
Now, as Kolar battles for the backup quarterback slot with sophomore Taylor Cornelius, a big focus of development shifts to his ground game. Kolar reported a 4.55-second 40-yard dash as a senior at Norman North High School.
