Former Oklahoma State linebacker Josh Furman was selected by the Denver Broncos with the 252nd pick of the seventh round in the the 2015 NFL Draft on Saturday.
Furman, the only Cowboy selected in the draft, opened up about his football past and future in a media teleconference with Denver reporters.
On his NFL position: "I pretty much like seeing myself as a safety. I played linebacker a bit (in college), but it was kind of like a hybrid role. When I was going through draft stuff, I wanted to deal with specifically safety.
