Oklahoma State defensive coordinator Glenn Spencer isn’t one to freely hand out praise to his players in the media. He calls it poison.
Spencer made that clear following the spring game when asked whether first-year junior college transfer linebacker Jordan Burton might make an instant impact in 2015.
But based on his performance so far, Spencer indicated Burton is on the right track.
“He’s going to have a chance to help us,” Spencer said. “He’s bought into our culture fast. I love that kid. He’s humble, hungry. He’s on the edge of his seat every meeting.
