Oklahoma State Football: Mason Rudolph Likely to Play in Sugar Bowl

According to the Tulsa World’s Bill Haisten, Cowboys quarterback Mason Rudolph will likely be on the field for the Cowboys’ matchup against Ole Miss in the 2016 Sugar Bowl on New Year’s Day. Rudolph had surgery on a broken bone in his foot last week.

“I’m confident (that Rudolph will start in the bowl game). I feel pretty good about it,” Gundy told the Tulsa World. “He doesn’t have as severe an injury as a lot of guys (who have comparable injuries).

“I think he’ll be practicing in two weeks. He’ll have to (focus on) conditioning over the next 10 days.
