STILLWATER — Former Oklahoma State football Video coordinator Jeff Naple is the recipient of a Big 12 honor, it was announced Monday.
Naple was named the league's 2015-16 Video Coordinator of the Year by a majority vote among Big 12 peers, and handed out by the Collegiate Sports Video Association. He spent almost the past three decades spearheading the recording and editing of games, practices and opponent film before losing a battle with pancreatic cancer in September.
Naple, 54, was affectionately known "Pitt." Receivers coach Kasey Dunn called him "invaluable to what we've done" in a July interview for Jenni Carlson's feature story on Naple's profound impact on the program.
