Oklahoma State football: Jalen McCleskey comes from a volunteer heritage

J.J. McCleskey was a mite of a kid, but he always told his friends he would play football at Tennessee. When McCleskey got the chance, he told Johnny Majors, too.

As a seventh-grader, attending Majors' Tennessee football camps, McCleskey would look up at Majors and say, “Coach Majors, I'm going to play for you one of these days at UT.”

McCleskey, who grew to be just 5-foot-7, would always look up at Majors. But McCleskey's enthusiasm never wavered. In those Volunteers summer camps, he would be, well, a constant volunteer.
