The younger brother of a current Oklahoma defensive back has committed to Oklahoma State's 2017 signing class.
Nelson Mbanasor — a 6-foot-3, 250-pound defensive lineman from Hendrickson High School (Pflugerville, Texas) — made his decision on Twitter late Monday. His brother, P.J. Mbanasor, is a sophomore at OU. Hendrickson also produced former OSU defensive end Victor Irokansi.
Mbanasor was named first-team all-district as a junior last season for a unit that allowed just 19.4 points per game, according to the Austin American Statesman. He reportedly received 20 scholarship offers, including Colorado, Kansas and Texas Tech.
