STILLWATER — Oklahoma State Alumni Association president Chris Batchelder was like most Cowboy football fans Saturday. Glued to a television for the Texas at Baylor game that would decide OSU's bowl future.
But Batchelder's blood pressure was likely just a bit higher.
“I was more nervous about that game than I think I was for any OSU game this season,” he said. “It was absolute chaos.”
Batchelder's stress stemmed from a joint decision made about midseason between the alumni association and the athletic department.
For years, OSU had partnered with a local travel agency to provide a la carte travel and hotel options for fans headed to the Cowboys' bowl destination.
