Coleman Hawkins' circus shot perfectly encapsulated Oklahoma State's night on Tuesday.
The Cowboys struggled in an 85-57 loss to Kansas State in Manhattan. On both sides of the ball, OSU was out of sorts.
The Wildcats (9-11, 3-6) jumped to a 10-0 lead and never looked back. First-half scoring runs have been kryptonite for the Cowboys all season, and they found themselves in a massive hole, trailing 45-23 at halftime.
“We didn’t give ourselves much of a chance,” OSU assistant coach James Miller said on the Cowboy Radio Network. “The bottom line is they just outcompeted us, unfortunately.
