LAWRENCE, Kan. — Steve Lutz easily diagnosed the loss.
Oklahoma State men's basketball didn’t play clean either end of the court. The Cowboys turned the ball over, had several defensive breakdowns and were dominated on the glass. In his first game at Allen Fieldhouse as OSU’s coach, Lutz knew his Cowboys couldn’t win by playing that way.
And they didn’t, as OSU suffered a 96-64 loss to No. 23 Kansas on Saturday, dropping to 13-14 (5-11 Big 12) this season. The Cowboys are still searching for their first conference road victory.
“You don’t come into a place like this with this crowd and this support and be able to do that,” Lutz said.
