Oklahoma State cross-country will take its first stride in the 2018 season Saturday.
The Cowboys and Cowgirls will compete at the Hurricane Invitational at 9 a.m. in Tulsa. OSU is not hosting the season opener this year because of construction on the Oklahoma State Cross Country Course.
OSU starts its season against host Tulsa along with Oklahoma and Arkansas.
The Cowboys and Cowgirls each enter the season No. 2 in the Midwest Region.
The Hurricane Invitational will act as a rust-buster in the beginning of the season. On the women’s side, the Cowgirls will send a large group to Tulsa for the first race of the season.
