Oklahoma State carried a roster hole into the summer, with a scholarship still dangling unclaimed.
Wednesday, the Cowboys plugged the void in a big way, getting a commitment from four-star wing Davon Dillard, who had been pledged to Cal, and will be eligible for the upcoming basketball season.
Rated as national Top 100 recruit after playing his senior year at Our Savior New American School in Centereach, N.Y., Dillard draws frequent descriptions as a strong and athletic forward who is dynamic in transition.
Those match his descriptions, too.
“I get up and down the court, running the floor,” he said in a phone interview Wednesday night.
