For the third time this season Oklahoma State basketball point guard Jawun Evans was named Big 12 Player of the Week. Evans led the Cowboys to victories over the TCU Horned Frogs and Bedlam rival the Oklahoma Sooners. He had one of his best games of the season against OU with 27 points, nine assists, four rebounds, and four steals. His heroics against the Sooners were likely the deciding factor for him to garner Big 12 POW honors.
Evans added another 16 points, 12 assists, four rebounds, and one steal against the Frogs in the Pokes 71-68 road victory in Fort Worth, TX.
