With time off while the NBA holds it's All-Star weekend, former Cowboys star Markel Brown returned to Stillwater and attended OSU's 58-55 overtime win over Kansas State.
Brown, now with the Brooklyn Nets, may have provided the Cowboys with a boost, too, sitting in on Travis Ford's pregame speech to his team.
“Just his presence was good,” Ford said. “He came to practice yesterday and did some things with our guys, which was great. While I gave my pregame speech I told him, ‘Just come and sit in the locker room. You don't have to say anything.
