STILLWATER — Brad Underwood's introduction to Oklahoma State fans and dignitaries came guns a blazin' Wednesday.
Well, guns up anyway, with Underwood flashing pistols firing with both hands, as he was introduced to a gathering of some 2,500 inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.
OSU announced Underwood as its 19th men's basketball coach on Monday, then introduced him Wednesday in a combination press conference-pep rally.
The highlights from Underwood's address:
“My dreams came true. I could not think of a better place to be — if I was not preparing my team for a Sweet 16 game tonight — than to be standing here in the greatest arena in America; in Gallagher-Iba, with the Iba name on it, on Eddie Sutton Court.
