Trevor Boone launched a three-run home run with two outs in the ninth inning to lift Oklahoma State to a 6-5 comeback win over Nebraska on Saturday in the NCAA Oklahoma City Regional at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
The Cowboys (38-18) were down to their final out when they scored four runs to defeat former Big 12 conference foe Nebraska (32-23) and advance to the regional championship. Top-seeded OSU will meet Nebraska or UConn, who play at noon Sunday. First pitch for the Cowboys is set for 5 p.m.
Carson McCusker started OSU’s comeback in the sixth with his sixth home run of the season.
