The Oklahoma State baseball program started off their two-game series with South Dakota State yesterday on the wrong foot. SDSU defeated the Cowboys 2-1 at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium. OK State struggled both on the field and with the bat yesterday.
The Cowboys only managed two hits and one run against SDSU’s starting pitcher Brady Stover, who notched his first victory of the season. Tyler Buffett threw 6 1/3 innings with only one earned run, but that was not enough for the Pokes. OK State’s pitching staff only allowed one run on the day considering the other run was unearned due to a Cowboy error.
