STILLWATER – Oklahoma State waited a while to get going offensively Friday night, finally breaking through with four runs in the seventh inning to tie West Virginia 4-4.
Now the No. 11-ranked Cowboys — and Mountaineers — will wait some more, after storms halted play in Game 1 of their weekend series, forcing a postponement.
The wait could be lengthy, too, with rain filling the forecast through Sunday. As it is, Game 1 is scheduled to resume at Reynolds Stadium at 11 a.m. Saturday, with Game 2 to follow. Game 3 is set for Sunday at noon.
