No matter the matchup or sport, the Bedlam rivalry holds its weight.
The members of the Oklahoma State women’s soccer team know this and are prepared for a tough home opener against Oklahoma, their biggest foe, at 7 p.m. Sunday in their inaugural game at Neal Patterson Stadium.
“You can never diminish the Bedlam rivalry in any of our sports,” coach Colin Carmichael said. “You’d like to say ‘It’s all about the game,’ or ‘We’re just focused on the game,’ but there is a little buzz to it no matter when we play each other.”
Last year, OSU beat Oklahoma in the three games it played against the Sooners.
