Oklahoma State defensive tackle Trey Carter was arrested last month on a charge of “larceny of lost or mislaid property” after allegedly stealing a fellow student’s watch from the campus library. Chris Day of the Stillwater News Press reported Carter’s arrest.
Carter will appear in court for the first time on Friday. According to the student whose watch was stolen, he noticed “two men walk by” but didn’t think anything of it. Once he noticed his watch was gone, however, as he left the library, something was not right.
Campus police were eventually led to Carter’s teammate’s dorm, and it was there where Carter was found and gave up the watch.
