EDMOND — Obi Muonelo kicked his left leg out from under the table and proudly showed the scar that changed his life.
"You wanna check it out?" he said.
It starts just above his outside ankle and runs five or six inches straight up his leg, the aftermath of a complete fibula fracture and resulting surgery during his freshman season at Oklahoma State. Up until that point, he had his career mapped out. Spend a couple years in Stillwater. Jump to the league. Make millions.
But after the injury, he knew basketball wasn't his future.
These last couple years, Muonelo not only built up a thriving business that helps people market and brand themselves better but also pushed away from the sport he long loved.
