Hueston Morrill wanted to keep his self-confidence high when he was in the midst of a cold streak at the plate.
The sophomore had a .115 batting average, but he wasn’t going to let it affect him.
All he needed was one good performance.
In the Oklahoma State baseball team’s 12-0 victory against Arkansas-Little Rock on Wednesday, Morrill got the performance he wanted with a season-high three hits and two runs.
Morrill said his production at the plate was a major confidence boost.
“Sometimes struggles are gonna take you down or your confidence level down, but it takes one game like this to bring it right back up,” Morrill said.
