Jon Littell had only one swing to give. It did not go well.
For the first time this season, Littell, a junior outfielder, was held out of the Oklahoma State baseball team’s lineup Saturday against Texas State. He jammed his right wrist after falling making a catch in the sixth inning of Friday’s game, OSU coach Josh Holliday said.
Littell played the remainder of Friday’s game but was limited to pinch-hit duty Saturday. Appearing in the eighth inning with two on and the Cowboys down a run, Littell fell behind 1-2 before a swing and a miss for the strikeout.
