Notebook: Holgorsen talks reuniting with Wickline; Stoops on Big 12 title game

In 2010, Holgorsen, as Oklahoma State’s offensive coordinator, and Wickline, the coach of the Cowboys’ offensive line, paired up to ignite a fantastic OSU offense.

The Cowboys averaged 44.2 points per game, good for third among FBS teams. Quarterback Brandon Weeden threw for more than 4,000 yards. Joseph Randle rushed for over 1,500. Receiver Justin Blackmon won the first of his two Biletnikoff Awards.

Wickline’s work with the O-line was instrumental to those successes.

2010 was Holgorsen’s lone season at OSU, taking over the Mountaineers the next season. Wickline left the Cowboys in 2013 after nine seasons to become the co-offensive coordinator at Texas.
