As Kenny Gajewski ripped the hat off his head, first-base umpire John O’Meleila pointed toward the overflow parking lot outside Cowgirl Stadium.
During the bottom of the fifth inning in the Oklahoma State softball team’s 3-2 loss to Tulsa on Wednesday in Cowgirl Stadium, Maddi Holcomb was called out at first base.
Holcomb bunted with two outs and raced to first base, but O’Meleila credited Tulsa first baseman Tori Stafford with the putout.
Gajewski did not agree with the call and bolted out to the infield. O’Meleila wasted no time before tossing the OSU (25-12) coach from the game.
