The first half of the Oklahoma State women’s basketball team’s exhibition game against Emporia State wasn’t pretty.
The Cowgirls struggled early in the contest, turning the ball over 14 times in the opening half.
To make matters worse, the Cowgirls failed to make the most out of their trips to the foul line by shooting 7-for-16. But OSU compensated for its shooting struggles by rebounding its missed chances for second shot opportunities.
Cowgirl coach Jim Littell talked about the slow start.
“I think it was more nerves than anything else,” Littell said.
