Notebook: Boynton confident in Anderson despite recent struggles

A few days removed from their over 3,526-mile road trip, which took the team through three cities to play three games, the Oklahoma State Cowboys will are back home.

On Wednesday night in Gallagher-Iba Arena, OSU will face TCU, the first game following the Cowboys win over then No. 1 Baylor.

Anderson’s struggles

In the first seven games of the 2021-22 season, starting guard Avery Anderson averaged 8.1 points per game on 36.3% shooting. The slow start faded on the following three game stretch at home in which Anderson scored 17 points against Wichita State, 26 against Xavier, and a season high 29 points in a win over Cleveland State.
