It seemed like mere minutes after reporters were asking Oklahoma State softball coach Kenny Gajewski how hard it would be to replace second baseman Madi Sue Montgomery that a new candidate entered the mix.
Replacing Montgomery's value will be virtually impossible, but filling her spot in the infield -- the only expected vacancy, with freshmen and sophomores as regular starters at the other three spots -- could be a little easier with news that Virginia infielder Hayley Busby is transferring to Oklahoma State.
Busby just completed her sophomore season at Virginia, where she batted .388 with 11 home runs, 27 RBIs and only 13 strikeouts in 182 plate appearances.
