No. 7 Oklahoma State tried to pick up opponent after Baylor postponement

Oklahoma State planned to roll out of its bye week and head to Waco, Texas, to play Baylor on Oct. 17.

But that won’t happen after the Big 12 conference postponed the game to Dec. 12 because of a “significant increase in positive COVID-19 cases” among the Bears football program. The No. 7 Cowboys (3-0, 2-0 Big 12) are now left with two straight bye weeks, but OSU athletic director Mike Holder tried to “pick up an opponent” to fill the unexpected open date, coach Mike Gundy told Dave Hunziker on the weekly “OSU Roundup.
