After surrendering a late lead against Florida State on Friday night, the Cowgirls got their revenge in the middle game of a high-profile home series.
No. 3 OSU beat No. 5/6 FSU 9-1 on Saturday afternoon.
“I talked to our team last night,” coach Kenny Gajewski said. “I told them there’s just one thing I want to know about. That’s response. I think we saw that.”
Aycock flashed star potential:
Kyra Aycock got some help from her fielders to start. But she didn’t need much more.
Aycock, OSU’s freshman pitcher, pitched to FSU leadoff hitter Kaley Mudge to start the game.
