The 18th ranked Baylor Bears, led by Charlie Brewer and JaMycal Hasty, crushed the Cowboy’s attempts to right the ship in 45-27 fashion. Today’s loss represents the first Homecoming defeat since 2014, when an also unranked OSU squad lost 34-10 to a West Virginia team ranked 22nd.
It all started with a sloppy initial drive from the Pokes, and a quick 3-and-out gave the Bears offense their first look at the field. They capitalized with a 3 play, 62 yard drive that ended with a 25 yard TD run by John Lovett, the first of many times the Cowboys run defense would get gashed on the day.
