No. 17 Oklahoma State allowed only 193 yards, and true freshman quarterback Shane Illingworth threw for 265 yards and three touchdowns en route to a 47-7 romp against Kansas on Saturday at Memorial Stadium.
The Cowboys (3-0, 2-0 Big 12) offense finally came alive after some lackluster performances against Tulsa and West Virginia. Along with Illingworth’s outing, Tylan Wallace and Chuba Hubbard looked like themselves against KU (0-3, 0-2). Wallace had nine catches for 148 yards and two touchdowns, while Hubbard showed why he’s arguably the best running back in the nation with 145 yards and two scores.
