After having its 2020 spring season canceled due to COVID-19, the softball is back in Stillwater.
“I thought last year was the best team, talent wise, that we have ever had,” coach Kenny Gajewski said. “We were off to a great start and then COVID hit and everything stopped…I keep telling them that I have been on a lot of amazing college softball teams as a coach. This as talented of any of those teams that I have ever been around.”
Since players were given an extra year of eligibility as COVID-19 canceled the end of their season, the Cowgirls brought back three seniors from last year for one final season.
