Dezmon Jackson underwent quite a journey to get to where he is today.
Coming out of high school as a 2-star talent and the No. 18 ranked player in Arkansas, Jackson had no offers to play Division I football. With that in mind, he had no choice but to go the JUCO route. Jackson chose Hutchinson Community College in Kansas, and the first year was challenging for him.
So challenging that he almost walked away from the sport he loves.
“It was just so tough,” Jackson said. “I didn’t know that much about JUCO, I just knew that it was a chance to restart my recruitment.
