CORVALLIS, Ore. — Time and time again Friday night, the Oklahoma State women's basketball team made a run at St. Bonaventure in their first-round Women's NCAA Tournament game at Gill Coliseum.
Each time, the Bonnies had an answer.
No. 10 seed St. Bonaventure parlayed a 19-1 run over the first and second quarters to take a lead it did not relinquish in upsetting No. 7 seed Oklahoma State, 65-54.
St. Bonaventure will play No. 2 Oregon State on Sunday for a chance to reach the Sweet Sixteen. The Cowgirls finished the season 21-10.
“They hit big shot after big shot,” OSU coach Jim Littell said of the Bonnies (24-7).
